Pre-Raphalite Inspired

I've always been entranced by the imagery and philosophy of the Pre-raphalite movement and from time to time throughout my life have returned to this theme reworking or re-imagining my favourite pieces as a sensual indulgence of my appreciation and a test of my technical skills as an artisan. There is nothing more pleasurable than slipping into the familiar dreamlike timeless world of the pre-raphalites so these paintings convey the richness of my own love of these paintings as well as introducing my own quirky sensibilities that either juxtapose or harmonise with the original themes of the pre-raphalite brotherhood.
